1. Which version is better, the trial or the paid version?
The trial version only allows you to scan your iDevice to preview lost data. It's a terrific chance to see whether our program suits your needs.
The full version allows you to use all the features of Anyrecover. It lets you preview all your deleted data and recover it selectively. If you want to recover unlimited data, you'd better purchase the full version.
2. Which types of data can I recover with Anyrecover?
With Anyrecover, you can easily get back lost Notes, Photos, Videos, Messages, Contacts, Call History, Safari History, Voice Memos, WhatsApp, and other critical files from your iOS device in minutes.
Due to Apple's privacy policy, call history, and Safari History is only supported for iOS 12 and earlier.
3. Is it possible to recover lost data after a factory reset?
It only works when your device's database file is existing and complete. The factory reset will wipe out the database, so it will be useless to recover data. Unless you back up your files, you can restore your data from an iTunes/iCloud backup.
4. If Anyrecover cannot detect my device, what should I do?
Open your iPhone, and it will display the "Trust This Computer" dialog. Please click the "Trust" option. Or re-connect your iPhone via the right USB cable.
5. Can I install Anyrecover on iPhone or iPad?
No. You can't install Anyrecover on your mobile device since it is a desktop app running on a PC or Mac. Please pay attention to choosing the version (Mac version or Windows version) that matches your computer when purchasing.
6. Where can I find the recovered data?
All the recovered data are saved on your computer in the folder you selected before. Please remember the location of the folder you have chosen. Then you will find your data.
7. Why do the program not find all the deleted data after scanning?
Most likely, the deleted data has already been overwritten. So you won't find the deleted data. To avoid this situation, please do not use your device continuously after data loss.
8. Why are some contacts shown as "unknown" in SMS recovery?
Typically, this happens when all text messages and contacts are deleted simultaneously. Similarly, it happens when the contact information and the date do not match perfectly when recovering text messages.
In any case, all the messages can be found under the "Unknown" section or other phone number strings.
